Competition Overview
The 2nd 2023 IYAC Youth Art New York Exhibition Competition is a competition designed to provide an opportunity for future artists to express their thoughts and share their opinions on contemporary issues in the form of visual art. The winning works from the competition will have the opportunity to participate in the award-winning exhibition held by the Cosmos Gallery (New York).
The competition is hosted by MySLide corp. and in collaboration with Cosmos Gallery (New York). The submission period for the competition will take place from February 01, 2023 (Wed) 13:00 to February 15, 2023 (Wed) 23:00. The evaluation committee members selected by the organizer [Jihee Jang, Professor of Anyang University (Chair of the Judging Committee), Mingyeong Lee, Artist (Representative of Haime Sculpture Research Institute), and Sojeong Park (Art teacher at Seoul Scholars International Art & Design)] will carefully review the submitted works and conduct a transparent and fair evaluation.

Eligibility: Students aged 13 to 19 nationwide, including enrolled and exam students
Prizes:
- All winners will be provided with offline exhibition qualification at Cosmos Gallery (New York)
- Artworks can be sold to gallery visitors during the offline exhibition (with agreement)
Certificate of sale will be issued
Part of the profit will be provided to the winners
Part of the profit will be donated to UNICEF in the name of the author
- All participants in the Cosmos Gallery (New York) offline exhibition will be issued a participation certificate
- All winners will be issued a certificate of achievement
- Winning works will be published on our website

Paper size: Canvas size 10 (53cm X 45.5 cm) or 4-fold paper (39.4cm x 54.5cm)

Competition Description
Cosmos Gallery is located in the heart of Chelsea, New York, and offers an outstanding collection of contemporary art. Founded in Korea in 2010 as 'K&P Gallery. New York.', the gallery is internationally renowned for its art sales. Since moving to Chelsea in 2015, it has showcased the works of over 300 artists from around the world. The gallery also provides space for creative and challenging artists, and visitors and collectors continue to visit the gallery to enjoy its diverse collection of activities. In addition, various events and collaborations between artists, clients, and collㅜectors are held regularly. In November 2022, the gallery rebranded itself and changed its website and gallery name to Cosmos Gallery (New York) to encourage more diverse activities and wider participation of artists.
The 2nd 2023 IYAC New York Exhibition Teenage Painting Contest, part of many international projects, aims to discover and promote more young artists on the world stage and contribute to various artistic activities, including international attention.
