2026 IYAC Global Junior Art Contest

The 2026 6th IYAC Global Youth Art Contest is hosted by MySLide Corp., in partnership with the GSEF Foundation, Detour Gallery (New York), and New Jersey State Senator Gordon M. Johnson. This year's contest ran from May 6 to July 15, 2026, bringing together young artists aged 13 to 19 from around the world as they expressed their ideas through art and discovered their own potential within the global art market. Works that pass the first round of judging will be exhibited as original physical pieces at Detour Gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York, through this offline exhibition. Among them, four winners will receive the prestigious New Jersey State Senator's Award.
This exhibition offers a firsthand look at the boundless creativity of young artists from around the world, each conveying their own unique story through art. The event celebrates the limitless potential of young artists' creative expression, creating a space where meaningful connections with the world are formed through art. The theme of IYAC Youth is “The Beginning of a New Connection”: inviting young creators to explore, with a single stroke of the brush, how their small world can newly touch and connect with the vast stage of New York. This theme embodies the values of challenge, growth, and connection, allowing viewers to encounter the honest stories young artists have unfolded on canvas.
