Material / Medium : Acrylic paint
Size of Artwork : 53 X 45.5 cm

Description of Artwork :
This piece depicts a heart-shaped ornament, a symbol of life and hope, hanging on the Christmas tree. In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, we often overlook the simple miracle of tomorrow coming. The routine of waking up to a new day becomes so mundane that we often forget to appreciate it. Yet, for those standing in between life and death, the promise of another day is a profound gift, a miracle they always wish for but cannot be grasped. This artwork is a tribute to those whose lives hang in the balance, for whom the future is uncertain. The heart represents the very essence of life, love, and the hope that sustains us through our darkest hours. Gifting a heart symbolises gifting someone their "tomorrow,” the chance to see another sunrise, to experience another moment, to live another day. Therefore, this piece reminds us of the immeasurable value of tomorrow.

Size of Artwork : 53 X 45.5 cm
Award : Winner
Description of Artwork :
People always make mistakes. There are probably a lot of them who make the same mistake and do the same thing over and over again. I am one of them. When I'm rushing through a crowd and I catch a glimpse of myself in the glass. I forget the rush of the moment and think not yesterday's me. I scold myself of the past. It's definitely the same 'me', but I find myself scolding and blaming myself. In that moment, I think to myself. Tomorrow I will live differently, tomorrow I will be a different 'I'. In this way, people face themselves and through the medium of reflection, whether by chance or necessity.
