2026 Global Junior Art Contest Exhibition

19 Aug, 2026

23 Aug, 2026

This exhibition is part of the 2026 Global Junior Art Contest. Over about two months starting last May, children from around the world took part, and this show brings together the works that advanced through the first round. Selected for their craftsmanship and creativity, these entries offer a look at the passion and potential of young artists worldwide, all in one place.

We are Connected

The 2026 IYAC Global Junior Art Contest's theme, 'We Are Connected,' came to life through works capturing the moment children around the world discovered they were already connected to the world around them.

These young artists depicted, in their own way, the invisible threads linking them to family and friends, to neighbors and nature, and even to peers in distant countries they've never met. Brought together from different countries and languages, this exhibition reaffirmed art as the purest, most powerful way to connect hearts across age and borders.

Exploring Artworks

Drawing on their own backgrounds and perspectives, participants freely explored the joy of discovering that they and the world are already connected.

Through these young artists' pure imagination and honest expression, this exhibition brought fresh interpretation and emotion to the theme "We Are Connected." Each work carries its own story and heart, offering visitors a rich range of perspectives and warmth.

We thank everyone who joined us in this exhibition, which let us see our shared connection anew through the eyes of young artists, and we hope you'll continue to support these young artists as they grow.

Media Towers Exhibition

The one Winner-selected works will be displayed to the public on the large screens of the COEX Media Tower and Parnas Media Tower near Samseong Station in Seoul. Both are massive LED signage landmarks of Seoul's outdoor advertising free-display zone, key media spaces seen by hundreds of thousands of people every day. Moving beyond gallery walls into the heart of the city, these works reach not museum-goers but everyday people passing by on the street. For young artists, it's a chance to see their work become part of the cityscape — a firsthand experience of how art meets the public and connects with society.  Real public engagement through art, and a first step as an artist. IYAC created this special art project to mark that moment on the city's biggest screens.
