2025 Global Youth Art Contest Exhibition

Art Competition Winners Exhibition

This exhibition showcases the first-round winning artworks from the 2025 youth art competition, held worldwide over four months starting in February 2025. It took place at Detour Gallery in Chelsea, New York.

In the final round, five artworks were chosen as Winners and received the New Jersey State Senator’s Award.

Detour Gallery aims to inspire both artists and audiences, offering exhibition opportunities for renowned creators as well as emerging talents. Founder Ken Schwartz envisioned it as a space to expand artists’ careers and showcase works that evoke powerful emotions.

This exhibition is part of the 5th annual Global Youth Art Competition in 2025, bringing together the first-round winning works created by young artists from around the world over a four-month period beginning in February.


The selected artworks, chosen for their creativity and high level of completion, showcase the passion and potential of young artists worldwide, all presented together in this meaningful exhibition.


Theme: Unity in Diversity

The theme of the 5th IYAC Global Youth Art Competition in 2025, “Unity in Diversity,” was expressed through artworks that showed how young artists from around the world seek harmony while honoring their different cultural backgrounds and perspectives.

This exhibition highlights how young creators view the world in their own language, revealing the possibilities of connection and empathy that go beyond differences.

 Together, these diverse perspectives remind us that art is a powerful medium that bridges generations, cultures, and hearts.

Exploring Artworks

The participants’ artworks explored the possibility of harmony within diversity, offering creative and moving interpretations of “Unity in Diversity.”

 Each piece reflects a unique identity and message, giving audiences fresh perspectives and insight. This exhibition reminds us that art connects and deepens understanding, and we thank you for supporting the growth of young artists..

Exhibition Process



The 2025 Global Youth Art Contest was open for submissions from February 3 to June 16, 2025, and was successfully concluded. Selected winning works were presented in an offline exhibition at Detour Gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York, from July 29 to August 2, 2025. 


1. Art Contest Organization 

Forming an International Youth Art Contest Project in Collaboration with Galleries

 

The contest is organized by MySLide Corp., together with the GSEF Foundation, Detour Gallery (New York), and New Jersey State Senator Gordon M. Johnson.

 Now in its 5th edition, the 2025 Global Youth Art Contest offered participants a valuable opportunity to explore the theme “Unity in Diversity” through creative works, to reflect on the power of art and the value of communication, and to freely express diverse perspectives and ideas.


2. 2025 IYAC Award Presentation

2025 5th IYAC Winner Prize 


New Jersey State Senator Gordon M. Johnson offered warm encouragement and support for the winning works of the 2025 IYAC. This exhibition was a meaningful occasion to witness the creativity and passion of young artists firsthand.

 The winners received honorable prizes, which served as both recognition of their achievements and inspiration for future artistic challenges. It was a special moment to celebrate and encourage the youth artists who will shape the future of art. 


3. Exhibition Display of Winning Works 

Selection, Collection, and Installation at the Partner Gallery in New York 

 

   Selected winning artworks were collected and shipped to the partner gallery in New York. The works were carefully managed, installed, and displayed, with the gallery space arranged to best highlight the exhibition content. 


4. Exhibition of Winning Works 

Held at Detour Gallery, Chelsea, New York (July 29 – August 2, 2025) 

 

   Winners were given the opportunity to showcase their original works offline through the partner gallery. The 2025 exhibition of winning works was held at Detour Gallery in Manhattan’s Chelsea art district, offering a larger space and a more diverse collection of works that fostered deeper artistic engagement with the audience.
