The '2024 KAJAA: Korea Junior Art Festival' aims to become South Korea's representative youth art festival, enhancing pure artistic merit, autonomy, and professionalism. Through this, we expect it to be a platform where youth can not only experience artistic creation and professionalism in advance but also inspire their own cultural literacy and grow into global talents.
Insa-dong Maru Art Center is a representative artistic and cultural space located in Insa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, where tradition and modernity harmonize. As a complex cultural space hosting various exhibitions and events, it provides a venue where artists and visitors can freely communicate and interact. In particular, it is establishing itself as an important platform for youth and emerging artists to showcase their works and is widely loved as an exhibition space that reflects the cultural identity of Insa-dong.
Applications for the 2024 KAJAA: Korea Junior Art Festival were open from March 22 (Fri) to June 13 (Thu), 2024. The competition was successfully completed, and approximately 460 works that passed the preliminary round were featured in an offline exhibition of winning entries at the MARU ART CENTER in Insa-dong, South Korea, from October 17 to October 22, 2023.
