The 5th IYAC Global Youth Art Contest to be Held

The 2025 5th IYAC Global Youth Art Contest is set to take place, providing a platform for young artists worldwide to showcase their creativity and skills.
Hosted by MySlide Co., Ltd., this contest is held in collaboration with the GSEF Foundation, Detour Gallery (New York), and New Jersey State Senator Gordon M. Johnson, offering youth the opportunity to be recognized on an international stage.

The most significant feature of this year's IYAC is that the exhibition of winning works will be held at Detour Gallery in New York. Notably, this year's exhibition will take place in a venue more than four times larger than last year's, with a total of 150 works expected to be displayed, drawing high expectations. The five 'Winners' finally selected in the finals will be awarded the New Jersey State Senator Award, which is expected to be a special opportunity for young artists to gain recognition in the global art scene.
The contest is open to youth worldwide aged 13 to 19, and participants must submit works under the theme of 'Harmony in Diversity.' After the first round of judging, finalists will be selected. These finalists will be given the opportunity to have their physical works exhibited at Detour Gallery in New York, where they will undergo the final evaluation.
2024 IYAC Exhibition
An IYAC official stated, "We are pleased that the contest continues to expand in scale with each edition, and that we can showcase the works of youth from around the world in an even larger exhibition space. This will provide an opportunity to be recognized in the global art scene." They added, "As the New Jersey State Senator Award is being presented, it will be a meaningful achievement for the winners."
Applications for the contest are open from February 3 to June 16, 2025, and the exhibition will take place from July 29 to August 2, 2025, at Detour Gallery in New York. Further details about the contest can be found on the official website.
