EduChosun and MySlide announced on the 7th that they signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Joint Visual Arts Projects in 2024' on the 4th to expand the foundation of culture, arts, and visual design for everyone from youth to seniors and to host various events such as competitions and exhibitions in the digital art education era.

Since 2020, MySlide has played a pioneering role in the digital art era by fostering a sense of community and collaboration among young artists through digital platforms, encouraging artistic expression, and sharing their unique perspectives and viewpoints with the world.

Through this agreement, the two companies intend to expand their target audience from youth to middle-aged adults, leaping forward as a new arena for visual design where anyone can easily participate in and share digital-based art education events, competitions, conferences, and festivals without constraints of time, place, or scale.

Tae-hwa Lee, Director of EduChosun, stated, "In addition to the Global Kids Chosun Ilbo Art Competition, which has been limited to children, our partnership with MySlide and its digital competition solutions will allow us to provide a wider variety of art events for seniors and middle-aged participants. We hope that more stories can be shared with more people through artistic works."

As part of the 2024 visual arts joint project, the Korean Artistic Junior Adventure Awards (KAJAA) for youth is scheduled for late March this year.

Consisting of competitions and both online and offline exhibition activities, the event will showcase many stories to the world through art. The KAJAA Art Competition is open to elementary, middle, and high school students. The judging panel includes Suk-chul Ji, former professor at Hongik University (Jury Chair); Kun-il Kim, professor at Konkuk University; Bo-ra Lee, professor at Gyeongin University; and artist Sang-won Lee.

Furthermore, an exhibition featuring the winning works will be held at 'Maru Art Center,' a large gallery in Insadong. The exhibition is scheduled to run from June 26 to July 1, 2024.
